All began with Robert Francois Pinton, gifted artisan jeweler who managed the prestigious Maison Meyrowitz during the Twenties in Paris
He befriended movie stars such as Marlene Dietrich and Cary Grant and French elite as Marcel Pagnol, Sacha Guitry. He signed his first exclusive eyewear collections with the mythical “Jacky O”, handmade for Jackie Kennedy Onassis and decided to create “la Maison François Pinton” in 1953. In the 60’s and 70’s, Dominique Pinton, son of Robert François, launched iconic models for the “Côte d’Azur” jet set, such as the Monaco, created for Grace Kelly. François Pinton eyewear became the symbol of the Dolce Vita and French excellence in spectacle manufacturing.
Dominique, and his children continued the legend by renewing and offering collections of frames. Unique style, become over the decades, true objects of passion inscribed in History.
